[英語作文]

Today is holiday though, I woke up early, in 6 o'clock.
So, soon after the breakfast, I had studied English until my family woke up.

Today's theme was Reading. I read the Wall Street Journal.
I choose a article which I could read, I read to speak it silently.
As I found there were a lot of word I couldn't understand, searched in the Weblio Dictionary apps.

Recently, I feel getting better at reading English.
I hope to read rapidly and smoothly.

[言いたかった事]

今日は休日ですが、朝早く(6時に)起きてしまったので、
朝食後すぐに、家族が起きてくるまで英語の勉強をすることにしました。

今日のテーマはリーディングで、ウォールストリートジャーナルを読みました。
読めそうな記事を選んで静かに読み上げるようにしました。
分からない単語がたくさんあるので、その都度Weblioの英語辞書アプリで調べました。

最近、英語を読むのが上手になってきた気がします。 ‘

日本語で補足

・「折角だから～」と書こうとしたのですが、いまいちピンとくる英語がなかったので諦めました。
　そもそも、「折角だから」ってどういう概念なんだろうか？
